It is best to remove the weeds first. Mulch helps limit weeds, but it will not stop all new growth.
How deep should mulch be?
It depends on the mulch already there and the bed. We avoid thick piles against trees, plants, and the house.
Do you bring the mulch?
Yes, if it is in your quote. We can also look at mulch you already have.
